Visiting a church for the first time can feel uncertain, but we want your experience at Mountainview Baptist Church to be comfortable and encouraging. There is no pressure to know what to do or where to go—our greeters and ushers are always glad to help. Families and children are welcome, and we offer age-appropriate classes as well as nursery care.
Each Sunday at Mountainview, we gather as a church family with one purpose—to follow Jesus together. We worship through singing, unite our hearts in prayer, serve one another, and grow in God’s Word side by side. We believe the Christian life was never meant to be lived alone, but in community with God’s people.
We believe God’s Word speaks to real life. The Bible is not distant or outdated—it is practical, personal, and meant to shape how we live each day. Our worship, teaching, and preaching are focused on clearly explaining Scripture and helping you apply God’s truth in meaningful ways. You don’t need a background in theology to understand the Bible—we simply want to help every person take their next step in following Jesus.
No. We don't invite you to Mountainview Baptist for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find in this place a warm family spirit, truth from God's Word, and a place where you can grow in God's grace. Please don't feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.
There is not a dress code at Mountainview for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in a more traditional "Sunday" dress. However, we want you to feel welcome and comfortable on your first visit here at Mountainview Baptist Church!
We have Sunday School for kids during our 10:00 service. We will all gather in the main auditorium for a couple of songs, after which we dismiss our children to their own class where they will hear a Bible lesson on their level of understanding. They will also participate in fun activites and songs that will encourage them to love and follow Jesus!
